Who We Are

Jennifer Hughes grew up in the publishing industry, frequently helping her book publisher mom during school holidays. After graduating from the College of Wooster with a B.A. in English in 1997, Jennifer attended the New York University Summer Publishing Institute. In the over 10 years since graduating, she's learned the book industry inside and out by working in many facets of the book publishing, retail, and distribution worlds. Her job experience includes working as a publicity manager for Capital Books, a media affairs specialist for a professional membership association, a book buyer and book store coordinator for the SHRMStore, an editorial assistant for a small trade publisher and a customer service representative for a book distribution company. Jennifer is a member of the Public Relations Society of America.
